In today’s episode Nkechi and Gaby take a deep dive into the importance of vulnerability. 

Nkechi said that it's important to express our humanness from the fullness of ourselves and that it’s important for us to know that we are enough. Nkechi also mentioned that having a strong tribe strengthens your confidence to be able to open up. Gaby also chimed in and said that it’s very important to be vulnerable with someone that we are comfortable with as we feel a release when we do so.

They also offer advice to people who might be scared to open up, as they feel they may be judged.

Nkechi stated that she has been inspired by Maya Angelou’s quote “when you get you give, when you learn you teach”. She goes on to say that whenever she gets knowledge, she tries to share that with people. She also speaks about how giving feels good and so rewarding.

Gaby talks about the science behind giving and how it improves physical health, while touching upon different ways one can give of themselves apart from financial giving.

Nkechi also mentioned that when you give the universe gives you back in some other capacity. 

Lastly, Gaby sheds some light on her new initiative called the “Kindness Movement” #beaware #bekind

Amee talks about her journey to becoming a lawyer, the importance of networking and being open to opportunities.  Also, as a new entrepreneur, she shares advice for people exploring the idea of becoming an entrepreneur.

Amee is a huge advocate for mentoring, and feels it is such an integral part of our life growth process. She shares her experience about the amazing benefits of being a mentor.

In this episode, Nkechi and Gaby talk about the value of have a side hustle, or two. A side hustle is simply, another avenue that bring in extra cash. More than just "extra cash", both Nkechi and Gaby share about how have side hustles feeds their spirit and ignites their passion.

Nkechi shares how she's always had a "side hustle" of sort. Whether it was an extra-curricular activity or the work she is now doing through Empowered in My Skin Inc., she's always had something on the go, in addition to what she coins as her "main gig". 

Having a side hustle, especially one that is tapping into your unique gifts and skills, is a sure way to bring more enjoyment and a greater sense of purpose into your life space.

We all have gifts and talents that are uniquely yours, so why not find a way, to use them to serve others in this world.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Sports Medicine. She is also a CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer who has been into fitness her entire life.

She is a wife and a mother to two young children who are actively into Rep sports.

She thrives on seeing people living healthy and active lives. Her energy is infectious and her passion for health and fitness will inspire you along your fitness journey.

Adenike talks about her fitness journey, how she overcame struggles while dealing with grief. She also takes us through her journey to renewing her relationship with Christ and becoming the faith-filled woman that she has grown to become. She also touches on her near-death experience and how it changed her and led her to her purpose. She is a powerhouse and definitely someone made for positive impact.
